TOPIC: Selling off tokens

Selling off tokens 1 week 3 days ago #1

Hello all!

I recently found a collection of True Dungeon Tokens I forgot I even had. I haven't done anything TD related since something like 2010-11 and haven't even been to GenCon since 2019. While I hope to go again some year, I really don't have any reason to hold onto these tokens.

Attached is the photo of the pile of tokens. I have no desire to take the time to look up individual token values, mostly because I'm confident none have any serious value. There are 9 wood tokens, 8 silver and 75 bronze or gold, for a total of 92 tokens.

I'll happily box them up and ship them anywhere in the US for $30, obo. I prefer Apple Pay but can discuss other options if needed. Please let me know if you're interested!

Its kinda hard to figure out the value without seeing the token names. I would suggest another or more pictures with each name. That said, I think I see an eldritch runestone. Which I feel is likely worth at least 10 bucks.. someone with more token knowledge could tell you.

The wooden tokens may have value if they pre-date 06 (spider stamped.) Ones with truedungeon.com on the back or nothing on the back seem to be harder to find. The value really depends on what they are and what year they are from for those. Otherwise, tokens with purple text (ultra rare) tend to be a bit more valuable.

I'd recommend what ThoT said - lay them out and take a picture of the front and back of all of them as a lot. That would allow people to give you a fair valuation.

They are sold! Thanks for the input and replies. It's possible I could have gotten more for them, but I was more interested in just getting rid of them quickly and with little fuss. If the person who bought them got a good deal, more power to them.
