TOPIC: 2024 Charity Auction (Mary's Hands) Jan 1-Jan 15th includes a Golden Ticket!

Hello all! It's been 8 months since the charity auction.

Our new auction starts at noon MST January 1st and runs to noon mst on January 15th. Super-hero (or super-villain if you prefer) monikers will be given to all bidders. After doing a few of those, I am finding myself more drawn to the weird and unusual superhero/villians so expect odd names after the first 2 or 3

Ebay style bidding. Bidding up to $10 is in 25 cent increments, $1 increments from $10-$100, then $5 increments above $100. Shipping is $9.

First, an overview of what you’ll be helping…

Your generosity helped us get the starts needed for the 2023 crops. More than half of everything we produced came from those starts due to the crop losses from far too much rain (flooding the fields and killing many of the seeds.) We were still able to grow more than a ton of food for local low income families. They appreciated it more than ever.

Isabelle did fundraising as well last year. She raised enough for us to add an orchard to what we grow. 40+ trees ranging from apples to peaches to pears to cherries. She also added grape vines and quite a few berry plants. We'll have more work on our hands than ever but we'll be able to have volunteers on-site again in 2024 so it won't just be the two of us.

I am making this an annual auction and adjusting the timing to better match when we make commitments to buy starts and seeds as well as soil amendments and organic fertilizers. We'll put in those orders by the end of January.

Bidding will be ebay style with the winning bids paying through our donation portal for Mary's Hands. All winning bids are tax deductible as a donation to our 501C(3) non profit Mary's Hands!
