Another auction? Charity?
A few confluent forces have led me to start this auction. First and foremost, the auction is in honor of my dad, Kevin, who has been battling cancer since April 2017. He bought me my first baseball cards, taught me about his stamp and coin collections, drove me twelve miles to trade for my first Blastoise card, and basically wired me for this crazy token addiction.
Others forum members have held charity auctions before, and this community has rallied to raise money for really great causes. I'm hoping I can funnel some assistance toward the American Cancer Society. The goal is to donate via this auction and help them provide aid/assistance to more cancer patients, and hopefully one day eliminate cancer altogether.
So for an un-decided number of weeks, I will post one listing per week with 100% of funds going to the American Cancer Society. I will not collect any money - all funds will be donated directly, and I will cover the shipping. The items will go up Monday and the auctions will end on Sunday. Hopefully folks can win some tokens and give to a great cause at the same time.
In Druid speak, that's like Spell Surging your Call Lightning
Also, one last note - if anyone wants to make a donation to the American Cancer Society just because, send me proof of your donation and I'll send something to a non-winning bidder.
That way you can Spell Surge Cure Moderate Wounds.
If you'd rather donate a token, I'll be sure to list the contributed token(s) up for auction pronto so the American Cancer Society receives even more funds. Thank you so much for your support and for checking out the auction!
