TOPIC: Heavy Crossbow Question

I was asked this by our guild's bard and ranger.
Looking at the 2019 1+ Boggling Heavy Crossbow - it takes a turn to load after the Crossbow is fired.
The Tokendb entry appears to read that the crossbow takes a turn being reloaded, but sort of implies that the player can do something else the next round . . .just not use any 1+ Boggling Heavy Crossbow.
So, a bard could cast a spell, or use a scroll, etc.

Am I reading this right?
Or does the player need the whole next turn to reload?

The players hand book says you need a standard action to reload the crossbow, from what I remember. I had the same question from my bard

My plan for him was to only fire the crossbow once.

Your free action would still be available so you could do something

Although I think there was a Heavy Repeating Crossbow years back that fired every round. Would have to check the DB though.

Those repeating crossbows got ya covered!

Also, most heavy crossbows are good about including the whole "fires once every 2 rounds" on the token, except the one generic "heavy crossbow".
