Should it?

As written, no, all Rare TEs currently specify no other Treasure Enhancers, so this would only work with one of the 6 UR TEs available.

Sorry for the confusion. This was a tricky one. Technically, this Charm is not a TE token -- it only boosts the effectiveness of an existing TE. One of these Charms alone grants you no extra treasure...you must equip 1 (and only one) TE token.

So...long story...it does stack with the other Rare TEs.

I assume that means this is compatible with the Ioun Stone TE, and any of the other TE as a single token?

Yes, including the Rares. It does not work with CoA, it does not work when there are 2+ TEs, and it does not work by itself.

Hi Jeff,

Following from the URs, here are the fixes to pips for enhanced/exalted.

FoP: Dog - should be circles
Enchanter's Whetstone - should be stars

Am I missing something - 3 star Transmutes aren't circles (they are 3 pointed stars), 4 stars are 4 pointed stars.

Hey Ed,

I'm talking about the ring of pips around the token. Exalted and UR get star pips, Enhanced and C/U/R get circle pips.

Thanks! Yeah, I saw that different wording in the other thread. Good catch!

Makes sense, would something like this wording work? To help point out it is a booster not a TE.

"+1 Treasure Chip only when you equip exactly one treasure enhancing token (& no CoA)"

Sounds better! Done!

I hate to be that guy, but now both the charm and crown start "+1 Treasure Chip" So I can still see people taking it as the crown would block the charm =/ That being said, the name helps with the intent and i know the apps and the db will back it up so maybe its not that big of a worry.

Only other thought would be something like "Increases the amount of treasure generated by a single treasure enhancing token by 1 (No CoA)" but that both doesn't fully cover the multiple enhancers issue and is longer, so its probably a bust anyway =/

How about: "If only 1 Treasure Enhancing token (not CoA) is equipped, it gives an additional Treasure Chip."

Looks like it, just a disappointment.

While i'm i really like the token it looks like another acronym added with Treasure Enhancer Booster (teb).
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

So this is compatible with any one of these, or any one of those, but this is not compatible with that, but that's ok, because these aren't compatible with that either. Those are compatible with that, but not with these, but can be compatible with this, so long as it's only one of those, and there are none of these, but that's ok, because those aren't compatible with these anyway. And I used to think COBOL was cumbersome. :silly:

I do thank you and all the character creators for without you our job would be miserable! I understand how this isn't ideal (being in IT/software) but I do think it is best for the game and new players getting them to transmute and collect treasure.

Hope it isn't too difficult for you.

I feel your pain on that. Just reading the coach's guide on how to calculate treasure today is enough to give one a headache! And Gold Nugget, Charm of Treasure Boosting, and Crown of Treasure Finding all will need to be added.
