TOPIC: Character Generator

Hi!

Is the Character Generator accessible from your account on the website going to be updated with the new tokens? If not, should it possibly be deleted and replaced with the alternate character generator program that is in use?

And, what was the link to that one again?

I was rather wondering this myself, but was afraid to ask. Also i've never heard of an alternate one, except for maybe the iphone app?

Right now, there's 3 main Character Generators:

* The "Built in" one on the TD web site... which is often NOT up to date, and has some weird glitches (adding weapon bonus twice for some classes, applying set bonuses poorly)

* Amorgen's Spreadsheet - Kept *very* up to date, and applies Synergy bonuses well!

* iPhone App (Now available for Android!) - Regular updates; Very portable for on-the-fly adjustments.

Is the spreadsheet how players pre fill their character sheet before i run to make the coaching room easier? I was looking into trying to do that this year so I can help my friends with theirs as needed.

The character generator on this site does not have all the tokens updated and probably never will.

Most people use the Excel spread sheet as it is the most up to date and accurate.

BTW, there is also an Android version of the Character Generator. I beta tested it and it seems to work quite well!

Yup - the spreadsheet includes a party card you can just print out once you enter your tokens.
