TOPIC: Will Work for Food (Fridays)...

Will Work for Food (Fridays)... 9 years 4 months ago #1

Erhm, as a result of my crazy Full-Time TD schedule (which I am looking forward), and as the only 10 slots for the RPG(Star Wars) that I wanted to play were split up nicely between 132,000 people, combined with me hitting the submit button at 10:02:02 (two seconds after we went live) I was 4000 in line.

So.....

Friday morning I have a little free time, 8 hours to be exact. If anyone is needed a player to fill a game on the Friday before my shift at 4:00 I might just have the time to jump in and fill your party.

My order of preference for classes are.

1 Rogue ( I have a nice purple build)
2 Ranger
3 Monk
4 Fighter (although I only have AC5 armour as I transmuted my plate away :/
5 Chef, although I am not teaching culinary arts at this time I am sure we can find a way to cook up props and eat them.

Let me know if you have room and need a player! Enjoy your runs!

I also clicked very fast and got 3200. I am thinking the order is randomized but could be wrong.

I have a ticket for sale for TDA1579861 - Sable Gauntlet (puzzle) 9:51 AM on Friday but I am not aware of any other ticket holders.

PM if you are interested in buying this ticket.

My students told me that I should collect the food bits as they are common...

I should get my cardboard sign and sit in the corner with a cup to collect food donation tokens, kinda like Raven collecting her Sapphire bits, but on a pathetic level...

Hey, I've actually seen one of the Indianapolis PanHandlers set up with his cardboard sign reading, "HELP: Need money to buy True Dungeon Tokens."

I chatted with him for a bit - he said he had no clue what TD tokens were, but one of the Con attendees had written his sign for him, and a lot of people had been asking him about it, & tossing change into his hat. He'd been making better $ than most weekends, so I guess it was working. (I gave him a couple bucks, too.)

The best pan-handler sign I've seen at GenCon, tho, was:

HELP: Parents slain by Ninjas! Need money for Martial Arts Training so I can get Revenge!

From what I heard, he made out like a bandit that year.

He deserved to make a lot of money with a sign like that. :)

Two of my best friends both have very narrow and very small token collections. One only collects tokens with "Pelor" in the title (he's our Cleric) and the other only collects alcohol and party related tokens (he's our bard). :)

My favorite from last year was "Veteran of Battle of Serenity Valley. Any help would be shiney."
