TOPIC: TDA1579130 Underdark Combat Thur. 6:12pm

We are hoping to run this on hardcore or nightmare difficulty and have builds for the following classes.

Ryan - Rogue (back-up as Ranger if needed)
Chelsea - Druid

Well, we have two of the tickets. This will be our first time playing True Dungeon so we are total novices. Our preference would be an easier scenario just to see how it all works and have some fun.

Any suggestions on surviving a first adventure? A few people at work have suggested buying a few tokens in the vendor area...armor, sword, etc. to have a chance at living through the dungeon in case the random draw doesn't give you anything useful.

You will get a bag of 10 tokens before your adventure. Players will often trade or loan tokens with each other to make sure everyone is well-equipped.

Hey! Sorry I missed your post, not sure how that happened.... lol. Normal is OK with us, I also have a ton of spare tokens to loan out if you'd like to make use of them. Any idea which classes you'd like to play? We can try and hold them for you if you have a preference since we normally get in pretty early. Ill send you a pm as well in case you dont check the forums very often.

I'm hoping to find some of the players we ran with during this slot to play again with for next year. I know most of you were pretty much brand new to TD but I look forward to seeing you all next year!

Possibly. We played the dwarf fighter and the monk (first time players). We might want to try a puzzle one next year just to see how that is vs the combat...kind of bummed we lost on time in the last room when things had been going reasonably well. Oh well, it was fun.
