TOPIC: GenCon TrueGrind (EPIC) Saturday @ Noon

WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL

Please note: we are playing Epic (equivalent to the old Nightmare), you must have and/or be willing to wear the Charm of Synergy, you must send me your build at least a week before GenCon (so we get the bonus for pre-printed party card and equipment list), you must bring and be willing to use a lot of consumables, and be aware that you very likely might die.

With that being said, we are a very well-equipped team so far and I have run with most of the group before. I think we have an excellent chance of at least some of us being alive at the end. Unfortunately Eric is already preparing since he knows he has at least one group to challenge with the new Epic difficulty.

It is possible we will be the first to try the new Epic TrueGrind. I'd like to think we'll be the first to survive it...

I will like to throw my hat in this epic challenge true grind event, but I might be on the volunteer schedule that maybe a conflict until I get my confirmation, but as for now, just be a standby just in case as being single shift volunteer for this year. My prefer is Paladin. I will keep you update to my static as soon as I get the notice.

I am in the same boat as Eversuede, as I may be volunteering during the con. I am hoping to find out within the next week.

If my TD volunteer schedule does not conflict I'd like one of the two slots left.

That's a good point, I should have waited until after Sunday when the volunteer schedule is announced.

Slight correction: Epic is equivalent to the OLD Nightmare difficulty level in Grind. (The NEW Nightmare is harder than old Hardcore but easier than old Nightmare).

I have said it before, but unless you are using the Viper set or are a polymorphing Druid, the uncommon Shirt of Spiritward is actually pretty good in Grind!

I'll admit...it worked a LOT better than I thought..

I apologize I totally missed this was on Saturday (yes, I know it is in the title). I have a professional obligation on Saturday and cannot make this event.

I am really upset because this was going to be a high point of my GC.

Good luck in your run. I am hoping I can find another group to run with in the TG.

I'm provisionally interested in 2 slots, wizard for sure, and likely monk followed by barbarian/fighter. For the second.

Is there still some conditional availability? It so. Let me know and I'll firm up plans, if not can. You add me to a waitlist?

I now have two slots left again, however the only available roles (in order of preference) are:

Bard (I can lend instruments)
Paladin
Druid
Cleric*
Rogue

(* We have a Cleric who is flexible so he may be able to move to another of these classes)

I volunteer as a Druid (lots of healing . trees)
