TOPIC: Novella

Novella 10 years 3 months ago #1

Hey all! Does anyone know if the novella will return next year? In 2013, the novella was a nice backdrop to the TD runs but did not continue this year. Does anyone know if this will make a return...or did I completely miss it?

Jon Cook wrote that and I believe it was an independent project, that Jeff endorsed. Haven't heard a thing about a follow-up. Although I'm with you I would love to see it another book.

Hi guys!

I wrote Path of Stone to sort of bridge the gap between the Smoak arc and the Dwarves arc. I don't know much yet about whether there will be another book or not, but I'm guessing that if there is, it will be between the conclusion of this arc in 2015 and the start of the new arc in 2016. It's only a guess, of course. I'd love to write another one. We'll see!

Jon,

Thanks for writing it. I am reading it now (as a filler while I wait for more TD activities).

Where might one find this novella?

After reading it you will never again look at chipmunks in quite the same way...
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir
