TOPIC: TD Ticket Update - 1 Week til GENCON!

Well when I'm not playing a portly Pally, I'm an accountant IRL. So I'm predisposed to number crunching. Total ticket available to purchase this year was 7,900, 790 runs. This doesn't count the 10 that were purchased early, any Golden Ticket or special runs that Jeff and company may have held back. These were runs that you could log-in and purchase from the GENCON site starting yesterday at noon est. Last year I'm guessing was somewhere around 5970 slots, 597 runs (best guess).

Still remaining 24 hours post on-sale:

Runs left - 225 / Slots left - 854 (slots sold - 7046) / full runs remaining - 22

Lycans Afoot! combat - 39/127 (full runs - 4)
Lycans Afoot! puzzle - 43/111 (4)
Golembane combat - 67/264 (5)
Golembane puzzle - 76/352 (9)

Interesting to see Lycan's is at this point more popular than Golembane, and the majority of tickets and full slots remaining for Golembane are on Thursday. Which implies that people are interested in completing them in order. The most tickets left including the full runs for Lycans are on Sunday.

I'd say things are off to a tremendous start! Go TD!


PS True Grind's 22 runs are of course sold out!

I'm surprised that there are still 13 full runs left at this point. I also find it interesting that Golembane seems to be less popular--especially the puzzle version. I think you're right that people want to do them in order, but even so it seems disproportionate...

Where do you get that number from? I see 812 runs. are the 22 missing TG?

According to Gen-Con High Programmer there were 613 events, 22 of those were Grind. It also includes True Craft with 4 events (1000 tickets). So, that probably equates to 609 dungeon runs. 22 of those 609 are Grind. My calculations equals 587 total runs through true dungeons (yay pun). That does not include Golden Ticket/lottery/special runs.

Just hoping to help the number crunching.

Correct 812-22=790 TD runs, and yeah i was just guessing on last year based on this year. Thanks for actually looking it up.
