Anyone who is interested in trading tokens, post your list on the site. Then, we can mix-n-match, and be as prepared as possible for Module 2.

I'm not really looking to trade my tokens specifically, but I would like to get some ideas how to use a few of them.

The anti-toxin and Detect Poison seem pretty straight forward, but the map case, flint & steel and the gold tokens seem less useful. What the heck would I do with a map case? I suppose the Flint & Steel could be used if our torch ever went out, but the gold? I can't use it to *buy* anything as far as I know. Any help out there?

I noticed on the website that there was a phone number (618) 549-0747 to call to buy treasure tokens. I was just wondering if someone could tell me how much a unit of treasure tokens cost and how many tokens you get in a unit. Thanks!

You get nine treasure tokens and a cool faux leather pouch/dice bag for $9. If you order more than $100 the shipping is free, otherwise throw in an extra $3 per Treasure Kit.

have any been retired, or are the changes purely additive?

There are both I believe but I'll leave it to Jeff to explain all the changes. My memory of the conversation is somewhat fuzzy thanks to 7 hours sitting in a truck followed by a large glass of wine.

No tokens are being retired -- as they are permanent and I don't ever see doing that. We are making a fresh batch of them this year, and we took a couple out and added a few. Some deleted ones from this year were the Common and Rage Special tokens, and we added a minor and medium rumor token that can be redeemed in the tavern. Oh...and we added a Potion of Haste.

i guess what i meant by retired were tokens that would no longer be in circulation. so, the only special that will be sold in packs is the very rare, yes?

if so, then the common and rare have been retired. must remember to hold onto those...

This game looks very interesting and I can't wait to try it out.

I do have a question about tokens though.

Since they can be used in other TrueDungeon games, does that mean you get to keep the tokens when you're finished playing?

So if I bought tokens this year and then played again the following year I could use the same tokens?

If so does that also go for tokens like gold, scrolls and potions? Those would normally be things that would be used up after one use. Do they just become unusable a second time during that game or do you physically have to give up the tokens never to be used again?
