I've caught wind of an interesting rumor...

More Token bags MAY be available BEFORE GenCon???

If that's the case, will these additional Pre-Con token bags have the same setup... meaning 7 Common, 2 Rare, 1 VR?

Another question...

Will the token bags available AT GenCon have a different Token setup? I heard a little rumor a long time ago that the bag is 8 Commons, 2 Rare with a "chance" for a VR instead of a rare...

Sorry, having never been to a TD or GenCon for that matter, I'm trying to plan my token purchasing strategy.

Last years mix was similar to what you are describing.

I'd say that is a pretty sure thing rumor or not...I would sure put more product out there if 500 units+ moved in 2-3 weeks.

As far as the mix goes...I wonder if the WHEN matters - I mean if the tokens go on sale June 1st then maybe the early sale is still in effect???

If they don't release for sale until a month or so before the con maybe that matters and the "bonus bags" are gone...???

Somewhere someone suggested changes to Very Rares - I recall agreeing with the Gems and Gold as VRs - and of course drooled at new tokens in the set - like a +1 mace... I wonder if with these suggestions and if the timing works out IF we will see a new batch soon.?...?

I hope we see a new batch. Available early June would be good.

We will come out with an additional run of tokens this summer -- before Gen Con Indy. The only changes that I know of for sure is that we will probably remove the Potion of Darkvision -- as we don't want too many of those floating around as we have to give imbibers an actual light source when those are drunk. I had no idea that we would sell out all these tokens this fast.

My biggest worry is offending you guys...the diehard supporters and collectors. I thought that some of you might get upset if we retired some of the old tokens and included some new ones...as you would think that we were trying to take ALL your milk money.

What do you think? We will need something to replace the Potion of Darkvision...so do you have an idea. One idea would be to replace it with some token that already exists -- so we don't make collectors by a bunch more to get that one token.

As a "Die hard" guy, I would not offended if you change the mix and add something. It would just give me something else to trade for.

Keep in mind that I don't think people would care if you completely changed the mix. It might not be feasible from a game play mechanics perspective but for collectors (the old set would instantly gain value) and people would have the option of collecting/purchasing the new set.
