TOPIC: FYI: Token Validator App is Updated!

There is an app available for iOS and Android that can be used by players to validate that the token they are presenting is 100% authentic. This is useful for collectors while trading Treasure Tokens. However, only a few specific Treasure Tokens (Charm of Avarice and the new Coin of Wealth) have coded RFID chips under their labels. These can be scanned by the app through the phones NPC antenna to authenticate these two tokens.

Note: In the Epilogue room at in-person events, staff will also use this app to validate the two above mentioned tokens. Also, if you wish to use a Coin of Wealth at an in-person event, you must also show a Safehold I token in Epilogue while validating your CoW.

If you are transmuting a CoW at Gamehole on Oct. 15-17th, 2026, the app will return an incomplete status with any CoW transmuted there. See the screenshot below. This notice will be removed from your app once you have turned in a Bead of Need token to complete the recipe.
