Coins of Wealth at GHC

You can turn in your Coin of Wealth transmute tokens (except for aptly named the Bead of Need) at Gamehole Con during certain times shown below. We are taking each transmute as they come in and checking all contents while the collector waits. Once everything is verified (except for the Bead of Need), the collector will be given a numbered Certificate of Transmutation that proves they turned in nearly all the needed ingredients. The collector's name will be added to a special database, and they can show the Certificate in Coaching at GHC to receive the benefits of using a CoW. EDITED: This Certificate can be used as a stand-in for the CoW TE benefits for November and December VTD events.

Later, when the Certificate holders have a Bead of Need, both the Certificate and Bead can be transmuted through the mail (or in person) to get a real Coin of Wealth token sent to them. DO NOT lose the Certificate of Transmutation!
There is no need to fill out a Transmute form at GHC for making your CoW token. Just show up at the right time and have your stuff ready to be checked. The recipe can be found here: tokendb.com/token/mythic-coin-of-wealth/

Regular transmute 1-5pm

CoWs are individually processed while the collector helps facilitate the transmutation.

We have received word that the token container is on the move -- enjoying a train ride through the Texas countryside. As luck would have it, there is a 50/50 chance that the container will arrive in Carbondale when we are setting up the dungeon for Gamehole Con (around 10/14).
The plan now is for me to stick around TD HQ until the container arrives -- so I can get the tokens unloaded. I will then grab the Coin of Wealth tokens and head up to GHC. I hope I arrive by Wednesday night. If the CoWs do come home in time, then changes will be made to the above plan -- based on when I can get to GHC. At the very least, instead of the collector getting a Certificate of Transmutation, the collector will get an actual CoW that can be used at GHC. More info will be shared as the situation develops.

So, go ahead and bring your CoW ingredients to GHC. You will either get a real CoW or a Certificate.

If we can get the actual CoW tokens to GHC in time, the collector must send in a Bead of Need via a special transmute item on the Transmute page starting in early November. Until this is done, when the token is scanned via the authenticator app, it will return to the status of "inactive" -- and it won't provide any TE bonuses. Once we receive your Bead of Need, we will change the database entry for that token to mark it as "active". At the point of activation, the CoW will work as normal. Again, the authenticator app (that anyone can download and use), will show whether the CoWvtoken is inactive or active. TD HQ will change and verify the database status for each CoW as the Bead of Need tokens are transmuted.

In closing, everyone at TD HQ is sorry that this shipment of tokens has been delayed. We are taking steps for 2028 to give ourselves even more of a buffer for the delivery time. This container has had many unusual delays, and we thank you for your patience and continued support.

If we do end up getting the physical CoW at GHC, will that count as the requisite tokens for VTD in November, since it is unlikely the status will change from inactive to active by the first weekend of November, if that's when we'll be able to send in the bead.

If we get the Certificate of Transmutation, I would also request that it would count for November's VTD, as long as you show it and the Bead of Need in treasure verification.

Since it was said that we could use the CoW in treasure for November and December's VTD, some wiggle room needs to be accounted for, with the issues with shipping.

If we don't have an active CoW by November VTD, how will treasure work? We'll have already turned in our TE beads and Charm of Avarice.

Thanks both of you for the good question. I have amended the post so it states the Certificate can be used to gain CoW TE benefits for Nov and Dec VTDs.

So, with the certificate counting for both November and December's VTD, what happens if we get the CoW? Does that also cover November's VTD as well, even if it shows as Inactive, if, for example, you provide a Bead of Need as well at Verification? I doubt there will be sufficient time to send in the bead in the special transmute if it opens in early November, and the VTD in November is the 6th-8th.

Think we need some additional clarification there as well.

Correct. If you want the Certificate CoW TE bonus for Nov. VTD, do not send the Certificate in until AFTER Nov. VTD. I can't think of a reason why you'd need to send it in before Nov. VTD -- other than just wanting to get it as quickly as possible. Or maybe you don't plan on playing Nov.'s VTD so there is no need to wait.

Yes, correct. If by chance we get the CoWs to GHC and folks get a physical CoW, just using it in an "inactive" state will work for Nov and Dec VTD. No need to show a Bead of Need. Thanks.

So I am hoping the CoW gets there on time to prevent problems.

I would like to request not needing to ship the certificate as part of the transmute, the post office losing the certificate would be the same as losing everything we are trying to prevent losing by doing in person transmute. If a bead of need gets lost in the mail it’s not a big deal money wise, I would be disappointed if it didn’t make it there, losing the certificate in the mail would be a disaster.
If I can just send a photo copy of my certificate, that would be fine, or have a special field on the transmute to put a certificate number of some kind.
