TOPIC: Update on Multi-Year Transmute Recipes

We have did a bunch of work on 2027 tokens and events this week, and one thing popped up that I need to fix. I have updated the FAQ regarding the Multi-Year transmute tokens. This info is also on the main 2027 token page.

The Treasure-Only tokens are meant to reward faithful players, so those two Multi-Year tokens must have ingredients from all the indicated years.

Q. Must I have all the years of a Multi-Year
previously-released tokens in order to transmute
the Multi-Year token? For instance, do I need all
3 of the different 2027-2030 Ultra Rares tokens to
make the Mask of Easy Boon?
Yes and No. While you CAN make some of the
Multi-Year tokens with the all the different released
tokens in the set from all the years, or you may
instead substitute any of the previously released
tokens so long as the total equals the number of
tokens in the set PLUS one additional token in the
set. Thus, “Any 5” can take the place of “All 4”, and
“Any 4” can be used instead of “All 3.” This “Any
+1” rule only applies to tokens that are free swag
tokens for making a certain level of purchase. The
Homunculus and the Void Charm of the Dracodark
are made from tokens received in Treasure
Generators. As such, you must have all the yearly
tokens in those sets to make the associated tokens in
the transmuting ladder.

So hypothetically 4 codex’s from 2030 to make the spirit pet? Personally not a rout I would use but I could see it.

Any FOUR of the Codex tokens could be used to make a Regal Familiar token in 2029.

Alternatively, all THREE of the Codex tokens (2027, 2028 & 2029) could be used to make a Regal Familiar token in 2029.

Hi Jeff, with token sales about to start, can we get a final ruling on whether the 3 Codex tokens will stack with the Regal Familiar?

I definitely feel like they do not need to stack. The fact that they have a stand alone ability, and can use any four to Transmute makes them not obsolete. I look at it like Rod parts, each is useful on it's own, but do not stack with the completed rod.

Would love to see the codex NOT stack with the familiar
