TOPIC: Question on "level"

Quick question from a new player... I read in the 2026 token discussion thread that equipping the three Triad items (Helm, Armor Shield) have a set bonus of +1 level. What does that mean? Does it mean you get to flip your card over and play on the 5th Level side instead of the 4th Level side if you have all three items equipped?

Yes. You get to use the 5th level Character Cards. 5th level characters are slightly more powerful and have different spells and abilities. Link to both the 4th level and 5th level cards are here:

To proactively answer a related question you didn't ask: there is also a totally separate thing called "player level" that you get by earning XP codes from adventures and entering them into www.truedungeon.com/xp

A very common point of confusion is that player level (from XP) has absolutely nothing to do with character level (always 4th by default, but 5th if you equip a token or set of tokens that grants +1 level such as the triad set)
