TOPIC: An idea about Wands

I had an idea about how wands could be useful again.

What if wands, at least damage wands, could be equipped as a Ranged Weapon. They would operate similar to a Mystic Staff. They would use Intellect for the To Hit, instead of Dexterity. They would require a To Hit, but would do the base damage in the wand text, plus the Ranged Weapon Damage bonus.

For example, if I had a Wand of Force Spike, and a Ring of the Yeti equipped. On a successful hit, it would do 7 Force damage and 3 Cold damage for a total of 10.
Wands would not need charges nor would they be turned in. They would operate very much like a Mystic Staff, except with a fixed damage. It would also open the possibility for other tokens or abilities that boost wand damage.

Just a thought.

It might also be nice if all tokens that affect Wands might be edited to also affect Mystic Staffs similarly.
