TOPIC: Rogue Assassin Questions

Hi All!

I've got a couple of token questions regarding the Rogue Assassin, as our Rogue player just recently fell in love with the Rogue Assassin class. Any info would be appreciated.

First, I've got our Rogue outfitted with a ranged build. I bought her a Short Bow with two "6"s on the damage wheel, but as of now she can't use it for assassination. Are there any tokens other than the Lenses of Vital Insight which allow ranged attacks for assassination?

If there aren't - does anyone have any suggestions for a great melee weapon for assassinations (multiple "6"s on the damage wheel preferred). +1 Assassin's Blade looks like a good candidate.

Lenses of Agility also allow Assassination at range, if using a bow or crossbow.

Lenses of Agility and Lenses of Vital Insight are the only tokens which enable ranged Assassinate, other ranged Sneak Attack tokens do not enable it.

The best weapon options are any with a d6 damage wheel featuring two "6" values.

For ranged, +2 Assassin's Crossbow is good. For melee, Nightshade's +2 Throwing Dagger works well (the icon always counts as a 6 for Assassinate).

At rare level, the +1 Assassin's Blade you mentioned would be my choice.

Thanks for the answers! I actually have the Rogue equipped already with the Lenses of Agility. There was some confusion in the Dungeon if that allowed assassination or just sneak attacks with bows. I'll make.sure to note very clearly on my cheat sheet for the rogue that it allows assassination with bows.
