TOPIC: Silver ship passage array

Silver ship passage array 2 months 2 weeks ago #1

I'm sorry if this was mentioned somewhere, but I hadn't seen it.
I know that the Silver Ship Passage Mirthwood is required for a special 12-minute mini-event at Ring Con.

But we now also have Outpost Nil, Pemberton, and Melonbrandt. Has there been any notes or declarations about what these are for? Each their own 12-minute thing at Ring Con? Or save the next one for a big event in 2028?

I see several on Trent's site and I'm tempted to sell some I have in surplus (my kids and I likely won't use all 12 Mirthwood tokens at Ring Con). My suspicion is that we still know nothing about any of these other 3, but I was curious if there was an announcement I just hadn't seen.
Thanks!
David

I seem to recall in a True Dungeon Talk w/ Trent, that this question was asked and Jeff said the other tokens would most likely be used at Ring Con, but nothing else has been said.

It was confirmed on the last Trent live stream that all 4 will be usable at ring con

It was said on last Trent talk with Jeff that all 4 would be used at ring con to "attempt" for each one. The way Jeff explained it was if you had 10 of each, then you could get 10 tries of each mini game/ dung.

Not sure I want 10 attempts at mini dung ;)

Shall we speculate on what they do? We know that we make some type of attempt at something.

If I had to bet, each would have a success reward that combines into something fun

So we could try and potentially fail at the reward? I wonder how hard it will be.

We can fail the puzzle / challenge that the passage allows us to attempt. Whether that means we don’t get the reward or the reward changed based on pass / fail is currently unknown. The way Jeff explained it as attempts, this implies that there is a chance of failure.

I think we may get something like True Craft, with either 1 room of combat or a puzzle? I lean towards combat because you could easily repeat a solved puzzle if you had multiple passage tokens. It could even be something simple like the year you 'dueled' the cardboard Jeff wizard.
