TOPIC: Coin of Wealth

I was looking up some info on the Safehold program and was trying to learn more about the Coin of Wealth. There isn't much there, but one thing about it I thought was odd, but I think I know why. It says that the Coin of Wealth will make all the TE Ioun Stone nuggets slotless. I was wondering why not just make the Coin give 26 treasure instead. Did they not do that because you would need the nuggets as part of the transmute and the silver nugget is still hard to find? Or even for new players it might be hard to get all the nuggets?

The Coin of Wealth (CoW) went thru a lot of discussion. The last iteration I remember it was no longer covering the IS nuggets. Supposedly coming in January 2026 I expect much more discussion about it during 2026 token development.

As others have mentioned, I wouldn't consider anything about those tokens finalized until they are sent to the printers.

That being said, there is an 8+ year old promise from TD that the treasure boosting nuggets _will not be_ part of a transmute:

So I believe making the nuggets slotless is a compromise position: they aren't part of the transmuted forthcoming epic tier treasure enhancer, but the new epic tier treasure enhancer would provide a benefit to people who have them.

From the most recent SafeHold document I could fine, it's not the CoW which makes the Nuggets slotless, its owning the SafeHold I:

Building a SAFEHOLD I means your character has
built an amazing stronghold which comes complete
with a Mythic Transmuter Laboratory. This research
room gives your Mythic Transmuter a great place to
do her research, but it also comes with a nice in-game
benefit.
Anyone who shows a SAFEHOLD I token in Coaching
gains the benefit of having IOUN STONE SILVER
NUGGET, IOUN STONE GOLD NUGGET AND IOUN
STONE PLATINUM NUGGET tokens become slotless to
equip.

I believe this is to provide an immediate benefit to building a SafeHold 1, especially since it might take people a year or more (?) to save up all the trade mats to transmute a CoW, even after making the top tier SafeHold.
