TOPIC: Spirit Pet Section in PHB

Spirit Pets are not covered in either the Player's Handbook or the Dungeon Master's Guide beyond noting that the slot exists in the PHB.

Shouldn't at least the PHB have a section on Spirit Pets and the rules common to all of them? Or, if not a section, something under Alchemical Weapons? Probably a good idea for DMG to mention Spirit Pets at least once and mention how they are not consumables.

Shh, just leave them out for a few more years. Then, when TPTB notice they are missing, maybe we can convince them that spirit pets were never treated like alchemical weapons and Ranged damage bonus definitely gets added to them.
