TOPIC: Blank Token?

So I just opened up a 10 pack that I got from doing Temple of the Dune Viper at Gen Con. Upon inspection one of the token chips has no item, just a blank top. Has this happened to anyone before? And what do I do with it?

I received one a few months ago myself. I am not sure how TDHQ handles the issue. Depending on the rarity, it can likely be replaced.

It's an atypical factory error. (I initially typed rare, but that has a different meaning here).

If you wanted, I'm sure someone here would swap you something for it.

It's misprint. Rare, but it happens. The fact that it came out of a 10-pack and has round dots on the edge of the token suggest it was supposed to be a Rare, Uncommon or Common token. (Star-shaped divots would have meant that it was supposed to be the 1-in-100 chance of a UR instead of a Common.)

If you are going to San Japan or GHC, you could consider presenting it at the TD store or transmute room and asking if you could swap it for something else. Or mail it back to TD with the same request. But since it was a R/UC/C, not worth mailing back by itself. Or, like Wade said, someone here on the forums might be willing to swap you something for it.

I appreciate the feedback. I'll probably just keep it as a novelty since it wasn't gonna be an UR, in any case what I guess I was more concerned about.
