TOPIC: Gloves of the Gladiator (+relic and legendary) Question

I believe the intent on these were for the bonus damage to apply for melee 2 handed weapons but the token text and tokendb text don't seem to indicate that.
"While attacking with a two-handed weapon, that weapon deals +5 damage."

Would this apply to a 2 handed ranged weapon like the Assassin's Crossbow or Io's?

They are meant to work with ranged missile and melee.

I thought the intent was to obsolete Gauntlets of Linked Fury while replacing Gloves of Greater Archery in various builds as those two URs were too weak.

Just have to be careful the way this is phrased, The official interpretation is melee and "missile". When you say "ranged", wizards start to get excited. We'll have to wait our turn. At least it gives me a year off from needing any of the legendaries.
