For patrons who intend to make Safeholds and would like to reduce the number of token round trips they need to make, we're proposing an alternative option to the 8K Super Condensed. Don't worry, all the traditional 8K Super Condensed options will still be available. If you choose the Safehold Super Condensed option, instead of any Trade tokens, you'll receive the following: *Worry not if that link doesn't work yet, it will be viable Soon TM

As with all 8K purchases, you'll still get:
  • 44,000 GP
  • The same number of random URs
  • All the same Onyx options
  • Adventures' Guild exclusive tokens (e.g., Mark of the Nth Tenet)
  • Premium tokens (e.g., Ring of the Nth Circle)
  • Adventures' Guild badges
  • Paragon token [e.g., Path to Enlightenment (Fragment X)]
  • Wish Ring
  • Patron Pin
  • The standard chance of pulling a Golden Ticket
  • Any other Patron-exclusive tokens/goodies that come with an 8K purchase

To put it another way, you're getting the first three tiers of Safeholds, including the Stewards you'd get if you transmuted them in the traditional manner. Your GP doesn't change and your non-Trade items don't change.

Note: This does not change the dates you can make Hirelings, Underlings, and Followers. You still have to wait until they become available before you can transmute them. Having the Safeholds early doesn't bestow any benefit because it's the Hirelings, Underlings, and Followers that grant in-game bonuses--not their respective Stewards.

Would this impact URs or the ability to have an onyx order?

Probably missing something from this system by why does someone want 3 4 and 5? I thought having 3 would give you all the benefits of the lower levels? Wouldn’t someone want the spare trade goods to start working towards 2 or does the math work out that those are just extra?

For the Stewards, so they can transmute the Hirelings, Underlings, and Followers. When you transmute a full-fledged Safehold (not UC), you also get five Steward tokens.

That kind of illustrates to me how underpriced these Safeholds and related tokens are. It seems like you shouldn't be able to get the first three levels plus 5 each of their associated tokens with just one $8K order worth of trade goods.

I’m confused by this. By the ordinary process, to get a IV, you have to transmute a V. And to get a III, you have to transmute a IV. But, if someone does it this way, they get all three tokens.

Or, is the intention that the buyer of this will probably sell off their V and IV?

Given how much negative feedback from the community there was about having to go through all of the transmute steps in the first place, and the response from TDA about how important that was to the flavor of the items, I'm pretty non-plussed to see that there is now going to be a whale option to skip the line, especially for those of us who already started building Safehold V.

I'd humbly request that TDA either not do this, or dramatically improve the multi-step waiting process that no one in the community seems to want, for the entire community, not just the 1% who would consider putting in an order for this.

A normal transmute path would be: Safehold V (Under Construction) --> Safehold V --> Safehold IV (Under Construction) --> Safehold IV --> Safehold III (Under Construction) --> Safehold III

If you did this, you'd end up with: 5 Hireling Steward, 5x Underling Steward, 5x Follower Steward. And of course the Safehold III.

But with this "Safehold Super Condensed" option, you get an extra Safehold V and Safehold IV? I am confused by that. Is that just to make the trade good math work?

I am for saving steps in transmuting, but I personally would rather end up with:
2x Safehold III
10x Hireling Stewards
10x Underling Stewards
10x Follower Stewards

And that way the Safehold vs Steward ratios would be correct too.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

The more I think about this option the less I like it. Get rid of the Safehold Condensed please. With this option, it looks like you get to save on having to use about 15 Fleece and lots of GP, not to mention skipping the waiting period as was mentioned above. Giving people a pass on Fleece (which you only get from actually playing TD) and lots of GP, and allowing them to "skip the line" so to speak because they drop a big chunk of cash doesn't feel at all right with what I thought the intent of this program was.
Doesn't feel fair at all to the folks that can't drop the cash. Make the Safehold paths the same for all levels of Token spenders. The big buyers are already getting rewarded with Marks and Path Fragments.
