TOPIC: Counting Tray

Counting Tray 2 years 8 months ago #1

I've been slogging away counting my tokens for my next transmute and i've been wondering if anyone has found a good "off the shelf" tray to quickly count 25s for moots. I'm sure I could rig up something, but I tend to like to go way over engineered, and/or it'd be nice to be able to do multiple stacks of 25 ready to go to be bag up at a time. The various tube and token holders I have are either over or under sadly.

I can't be the only one who's thought about this - I'm just hoping someone else has been more successful in a solutiion.

Druegar had someone 3D print one IIRC.

100% he has some. I had a friend make a different one for me with some alterations and I mainly need to 1) find the file and 2) print them.

Take a clear token tube, put 25 tokens in, mark it with a line, empty token tube into a baggie, repeat.

I have seen Druegar using the trays he has. They are really cool. Would be a good item for Trent and TD Tavern to carry in their stores.

My husband can 3D print them, either in a one column or a three column. They’re sized just right for 25 tokens and the three column version is stackable, if that’s useful. Depends on if you’re just counting or looking to store them that way.

Quite a few, actually.
They were designed and printed by forumite Kenban. Here's the post he made about them a little over three years ago:

Kenban wrote: I made this really quickly. To cut down on the size I overlapped the rows, each division is offset to the side by 5 mm from center. 4 rows wide is the most you can fit on most consumer 3D printers.

To the best of my knowledge, Kenban has not open sourced it. But I very much recommend contacting him. He's just a PM away...
