TOPIC: What a time to be a collector: Completion Tokens

I was looking at some BiS rare build ideas, and was really surprised at how many of the recent completion tokens figure into them.

Looking as the 2018-2020 completion tokens, there are a lot of really solid options that fit into BiS Rare builds, or even in some cases BiS builds period (like the slotless horns).

I think it's pretty cool that new players - especially those who can make the jump to Hardcore, are getting some tokens that will live in builds for a long time.

Here are some of my favorites:

2020:

Charm of the Elk is one I want to include in builds for my party, and is missing from your list. That said, outside of golden ticket runs, I haven’t heard of people getting them.

Dang that jasper elipsoid feels more like an UR, here's hoping it's a gencon one so lots get into circulation. Actually strike that. It is infernal prism...

A number of my rare+ build have both jasper IS. I’m not sure how Much to actually recommend them, as they will likely be very expensive even if they are gen con tokens.

Has anyone seen Earcuff of the Sacred distributed as a completion token? It was initially scheduled to be a Gamehole Con token, but then the list changed. Two members of my guild got Golden Tickets this year and each received an Earcuff of the Sacred in their goodie bag, but I haven’t seen them in the wild. (Kirk and Trent have them listed for pretty high prices--well, Kirk higher than Trent--even for a rare completion token, leading me to believe there aren’t many out there.) I was bummed they weren’t given out at GHC because several of our party members are still wearing Earcuff of Vitality, and Earcuff of the Sacred is a pure upgrade.

My party got earcuff of the sacred on e3 on Saturday at gen con. We have at least one we could trade, especially if you have a charm of the elk.

Definitely got the earcuff in the GT run.

Out group got Earcuff of the Sacred at both Gen Con and Gamehole Con. Really like it a lot.
