TOPIC: WANTED: your "useless" commons

I have a project in mind that will probably not be completed until Indy 2007 that will require your assistance to collect as many common tokens as possible.  This will most likely be the final resting place for these tokens, so don't worry that I'm trying to corner the market on all commons or anything.  =]<br /><br />Depending on what you have, I might offer trades or cash, and may even pay for shipping for larger lots. (I'm curious to see what I'm offered before I can make any solid deals.)<br /><br />Details will be forthcoming, when I see exactly how big this project might get.   Yes, I am MAKING something out of these... but I need more tokens before I can be sure it's really possible.

But if you waste a lot of commons, then don't they actually become rare???  :O

See - that is just it....there is NO SUCH THING as a "USELESS" common!<br /><br />Can you give me some idea on the number you are looking for?<br /><br />Are we talking 100 - 200 or 1000 - 2000?

thats what i was wondering. how many? since they started adding combo tokens, it's going to be hard to let some go. we don't really know which ones will become "useful". give us an idea what you will need.

I know they do serve some purpose, which is exactly why I called them "useless" (with the quotes).<br /><br />I also know that some people had mentioned that they don't know what to do with all the commons they have (esp all the basic weapons), so I wanted them to know that if they want to do something with them other than throw them away, I would be willing to take some off their hands.  If I go to SoCal, it might be easier to try and get some there, instead of having people mail them to me.<br /><br />From my original guesstimate, I think I need somewhere in the ballpark of 700 to get this thing rolling.  Maybe that's too high to shoot for though.  WHo knows - maybe when they announce the next release of new tokens, my addiction may kick in and I'll order enough on my own.  =]<br /><br /><br />Thanks to everyone for their comments.  It IS good to know that people want to hold on to even the most basic of tokens...

Good point about the combo tokens...  Like I mentioned in the previous post - maybe it would be better to see what I can acquire at SoCal.  After that, I can be more specific about what exactly I need.<br />Thanks!

700 - 1000 shouldn't be too high.  Unless you are like an Arts and Crafts Goddess who don't goof up her work
