Search for "True Dungeon" or maybe "Treasure Tokens"

Wow - the savior stone went for $33 plus shipping...seems low for something as hard as that to get - and for what it does.

G

Hey Bro,

It might take a year or two for the savior stone to be properly appreciated and valued. I remember after the GENCON when the Rings of Regeneration were given out, an auction including two of them went for under $150 (or somewhere around there). I expect that they would go for MUCH more than that now. I guess Treasure Tokens need to age properly, like fine wine :-)

Mike

Unfortunately, I personally don't see the Savior Stone ever going for much more than $50. The difference being that the SS is a consumable, the Ring of Regeneration is not.

I posted a guess two weeks ago.

truedungeon.com/trueforum/index.php?topic=1327.msg25636#msg25636

I just wish some people would put purples for auctions instead of reds :)

I think $50 is more like it...

I've been watching continuously for months. The Saviour Stone is the only UR that's been auctioned recently that I'm aware of - and I'm not surprised the price wasn't higher. A) There are lots of them, and B) It's expendable. As a functioning item, it is primarily valuable to non-collectors who don't mind losing it when it works, but who wouldn't be willing to pay that much. Most of the collectors who want UR's simply because they're UR's already have one as a result of the GT runs.

"There's lots of them" But then again you say they are in the hands of collectors...which means they don't move out of those hands...

I know a few shifted around at INDY - and there are some VOLS that were on the GTR...so they have two...but come now (pinky to cheek)...there are not that many free ones floating around.

This little gem is the difference in surviving a last room riddle and getting a badge or not getting a badge. Not a big deal to some - but those not making multiple runs may just want to use that little gem.

I think the big price driver is the fact that they are in the hands of the faithful servants of TD - and as such many will not be moving. I have two - both I will keep unless I really need to burn one in an adventure.

I stand with my value of the SS at $50.

But if you can't find a buyer for $50, it isn't worth that much (yet). ;)

Well I would not sell either of mine for $50...maybe one for $100 so does that make the value $100?
