TOPIC: Phone/Pad Apps

Hi. Just a placeholder for now. I would like to combine all the app requests in one place, regardless of platform. Usually problems on one platform exist on both. The token database files are the same for both.

Timing (just FYI):
1. working an app now which should go out for beta in September

2. October: Next rev of the Coaching Minion (I have some ideas to satisfy most of the requests, and will correct it to better match the party card.

3. February: Character Generator: ios. It's easier to prototype the new tokens on ios, and transfer the database to Android. Numerous corrections will happen for some of the oddities that are in the uncommon set. Improvements to better match the party card stats.

4. March: Character Generator: Android. Migrate changes over, and deal with some of the oddities of Google's Java and limited XML implementations. Look at an import feature for characters from the email option. Also look at CSV output of character builds.

I will look over the other topics to catch all the input since the last rev of each, but as new issues come up, please put them here.

I expect all to be released prior to WhosYerCon in April.

Some way to recognize synergistic tokens. Perhaps just a way to enter the number of charms of synergy and good fortune/avarice in the party. That wat hp and treasure could be fully accurate.

Just an FYI, Druid doesn't have Lenses of Divine Sight available on Andrew.

Remember the Wisdom requirement. I just set up a druid with Lens of Devine Sight after equipping Charm of Enlightenment, and it worked correctly.

Hi All.

The IOS version of the Character App has passed Apple review and is available for download. For those that have it, you should just be able to upgrade. It just went live, so it may take some time to filter through the Apple severs. The update includes:

1. 2016 token set
2. Import/Export through email (the email function includes a file that will import when selected)
3. Added stat blocks for polymorph and spells
4. Changed the environmental stats to match the ones on the party card
5. Enhancers for Thrall weapons added
6. Added 6th level Special for token counts
7. Limited Figurines (1 if below 18 charisma, otherwise 2 max)
8. Enhancers for slings were added
9. Fixed enhancer problem with crossbows

That should be about it. I will let the Apple based users highlight the corrections before starting on the Android version. That version should be out in January.

Got it. No problems so far.

I noticed that the +2 Rod of Persuasion is adding the +2 hit bonus when it is equipped in the Special slot.

I'll do a more thorough comb through later this week.

That's why we do all the extensive testing.

It is supposed to be Charisma 16. And the +2 Rod of Persuasion is providing the +2 in the Special slot. Both will be fixed before Whosyercon.

Two more things I noticed: the rare Staff of Focus is giving +2 spell damage instead of +1 and the Hat of Intellect +2 bonus to hit with spells isn't factoring (test using Elf Wizard, not regular Wizard yet).
