TOPIC: Cloak of Shadowskin query

I was checking out the information listed under the Cloak of Shadowskin in the tokendb, tokendb.com/token/cloak-of-shadowskin/ , and have a question.

The Cloak will not 'fire' if you have other tokens that prevent the damage that would be done from a successful physical attack. I am wondering what happens if an attack has an effect on top of any damage dealt. Assuming I have Viper Strike Shirt and I take 3 points of damage that would also stun me (or some other status effect). Would preventing the 3 damage with the Shirt prevent the stun? I will assume the Cloak triggers and any status effect would not take place, but I am looking for an official ruling.

Per Jeff, if an item completely negates the physical damage from an attack, any secondary effects are also negated. This is consistent with how a Dragon Tooth Amulet handles secondary effects.

The TDb entries for Cloak of Shadowskin and all melee damage-reducing items have been updated to reflect this clarification
