In theory, it would be EASY to depreciate the FCoA:
#1. Print a bunch of Rare treasure enhancing tokens (preferably in the neck/ring/charm slots, and with specific wording that prevents combining them with the UR treasure enhancers).
#2. Print new treasure enhancing tokens, but as Relics (which are not copied by the FCoA which only copies UR's).

Stu's Pendant (+3 str +3 dex) (+1Hit/Dmg +1 Ac)
Ring of Frost (+2 Frost Dmg)
What other Legendary gives you +1 Hit/ +3 Dmg AND +1 Ac?
I'm sure other combinations and items will make this better as time goes on.
Granted you must buy those tokens but you also get a free UR if there is ever another URTE token in any other slot than neck going forward.
Thoughts?
If you are already using the Ring of Frost (with the Ring of Riches), then you aren't "gaining" the +2 damage when upgrading to the FCoA.
More importantly, it is mainly opening up the slots. It is the Pendant and the Ring which are actually giving you the bonuses (not the FCoA).
And while it gives you that *potential*, you still actually have to own those tokens, which may be easier or harder for different people.
Similarly, I think it would be erroneous to say that the Earcuff of Orbits gives you +2 STR and +2 DEX. Or that the Charm Necklace gives you +1 level, HoP+RoR+CoGF effects, and +6 to all saves.

Why make it when you can make the Ring? Unless you already have the ring...
The ring adds to healing AND to spell dmg, vs the Staff doing only spell dmg...
This poor guy's been beat to death so i'll let that rest.

You guys are underestimating the Staff.
First of all, right now it doesn't matter if the Ring adds to healing. That clause is there for the Clerics and Druids. Since Wizards have no healing spells, it doesn't help them at all. Just like if the Ring or Staff had a clause "auto-kill when sneak attacking" would be meaningless (to everyone but David Terry) since Wizards, Clerics, and Druids can't Sneak Attack.
Secondly, the Staff does have the advantage that you can readily switch out your weapon. With the Rings, you are "locked in." With the Staff, you can use it when you need it, and then switch to something else when you want.
