TOPIC: Sundering Cestus and Scepter of Might Stacking

The SeyLah's +2 Sundering Cestus reduces a monster's AC by two per hit, for a maximum of -6 to the AC. The +2 Scepter of Might reduces the monster's AC by one per hit, for a maximum of -4 to the AC.

I was wondering, do these stack for a maximum of -10 to the monster's AC? I would assume they do since the stacking rules say that the different tokens stack unless otherwise indicated in the Token Guide, and the Token Guide doesn't say they don't stack. If they do stack that is great, as my party will be using both (+2 Cestus's for the two Fighters, +2 Scepters for most of the rest of the Party).

The Scepter of Might doesn't reduce AC; it states: '.. makes the monster -1 to hit.'

I'm pretty sure it reduces the monster's to-hit bonus when attacking the party.

Huh, I take that back, having read the token guide. Why the change in the wording between 'reduces AC', and '-1 to hit' ?

I think the token guide may be in error.
The Scepter of Might says on the token

"Successful hit makes the monster -1 to hit (-4 Max)"
Which should mean the monster loses one from its ability to hit the PCs.

I will post it on the Token Guide feedback thread, but an answer here from TPTB would be most welcomed.

I took it to mean each hit from the Scepter of Might makes the PCs tougher to hit. I'll do some forum searching later

I hope the Token Guide is right, I'd much rather have the Scepter make it easier for us to hit the monster than harder for him to hit us.

I took the Scepter as it lowers the monster's attack. So it is the other side of the coin to the Cestus.

When I read it and wrote it up in the guide, I interpreted it to be AC, given Jeff will change wording and re-write things for many reasons most of which evade me. I will check with him and let you know for sure.
