TOPIC: Time to start developing the 2012 tokens yet?

The 2011 set is out, and the dev time for that set was cut short. Should we start working on the 2012 set now?

Only if we want Jeff to finally snap.

Jeff doesn't have to get involved, yet. He can just give us a few months to run wild and be creative, and then when he's ready, take a look at what we have come up with.

Of course, I was mostly jesting in the first place, but taking a long view, it doesn't seem like a horrible idea...

In all seriousness, the other obstacle to early development is that we're starting a new story arc in 2012 and we have no idea as to the theme. Mind you, I enjoy talking about tokens as much as the next person.

Well, we do know that 2012 is the big battle with the Dracolich, right?

I thought 2012 was the final battle with the Dracolich Smoak?

Also, I think we might have gotten a little to bogged down in theme this year. A big chunk of the tokens are underwater related and may be of limited use in the future. Even all the undead centric tokens might be less popular in the next arc.

I think if we the players focus on more generic tokens, then Jeff can pick ones that fit the theme, or insert thematic tokens of his own design.

I thought the dracolich would be this year as that was kind of implied in the video in the epilogue room.

Nope. This year we fight a normal lich to get the blade for the Evading Hilt. This will let us finish Smoak forever next year.
