TOPIC: Different ways to run

Different ways to run 14 years 4 months ago #1

There has been a trend recently that I think will continue, in deciding which power level people wish to face the dungeon. In particular: Turkey Leg Run, RedGuild, and Evil Bomber. These are some intriguing ideas. What kind of stipulations have players put on themselves in the past?

Sealed Token run?
Consumables only run?
Nekked Dagger run (totally infamous BTW)

What other kinds of runs are people thinking of doing in the future?
I'm thinking of going against the grain and doing an "as purped out as possible" run!

(what, you say that isn't against the grain?) ;/

That depends. Corn or wheat?

I'd like to try a sealed bag run. Be good to not have to carry my binder of tokens!

How about a deck draft like in a TCG. Everyone opens their packs, takes one token, and passes to the left.

Me 'n' My Minions Run

One player purped out beyond all recognition. The rest using commons. And following orders blindly.

You could have 8 teams, and do 8 8-person drafts, and each draft would have one person per team (so you are drafting against competitors and not team mates), and then you could see how well those 8 teams did compared to each other. Each draft would hopefully have 8 different classes in it so you're not all drafting to get the same tokens. Of course you could only use the 10 tokens you got in that draft.

That could be tough to arrange, but it would be a lot of fun.

One person run!

Three person run!

Wasn't there a commando run, only brown and green tokens?
