TOPIC: Another 4C in 2011?

Okay, 4C's have usually been for "end of story line" stuff... that said, that's also coincided with there being 6 trade items out... so with there being 6 from this year, what are the chances that we have another 4C next year?

And are we going to be hunt for 9 different ingredients with the three dungeon in 2011?<br />A 15 ingredient 4C should be powerful, indeed!

Should be nil. Dave has always announced that over a year in advance so people know to prep for it.

I hope that we get to make something halfway decent in 2011 with 6 ingredients in 2010?

ah, but you forget, the 2010 ingredients were already part of a 4C combo, you just didnt need all of them.<br /><br />if i remember correctly, the same thing happened with the medallion of greyhawk year.  you needed one ingredient from that year, and those ingredients were NOT used in the 4C combo this year.

<br /><br /><br />I personally think the easiest would just be 25 (cause that's the amount for all the other trade item tokens). Having a different amount would just lead to eventual confusion.<br /><br />25 might be a steep quantity for many players though. But I think the consistency is worth it.<br /><br />Also, I think there are other Trade Items that are more pressing than monster ingredients:<br /><br />- Potions<br />- Ammo<br />- Clothing<br />- Runestones<br />- Lores (though it looks like they won't be printing more of them. So giving them a GP value might be the easier solution)

I think you can already redeem Runestones for Darkwood Planks/Billets?<br /><br />We need to redeem Lore as well.

I'd love to see the Elixer of Life come back as a contructable trade token for potion trade items.    Or a Potion of Heroism (+1 to Character level for adventure).<br /><br />I'd also love to see the Arrow of Slaying come back as a constructable trade for ammo trade items.

Yeah, runestones contribute to Darkwood Planks.<br /><br />Having 25 monster trophies for a trade item does seem really steep. That probably puts it above Aragonite it terms of difficulty to acquire.<br /><br />As far as the lore tokens go. Since Jeff is no longer going to make the lore codes on tokens, its a bit tough to make a Trade-In for them. Perhaps the best thing to do would be using a number of lore tokens in the combo recipes this year. That or allow some number to substitute for a token in a combo recipe. Like 2 lore tokens can substitute for any common, 6 for any uncommon? Maybe that's too steep?

Trade in the Lore like Scrolls for Alchemist's Parchment?

25 seems steep to me since monster trophies are so rare. But if you plan on making something with that that's pretty high powered, I guess I could see it.
