TOPIC: Value of an Arcane Item

With all of the talk about gold values and Arcane Items. I thought I would get a couple of polls running.

I am going with over 100,000. I know a few people that have around that much. I think they really want that token.<br />1 person I know that has that much, I can't tell what he is doing. It will be fun to find out

well, damn.  if all those people really do have over 100k gp, i guess i should just sell my gp now.    i had to put less than 70k, but only because i dont have that much.  my REAL vote is "as much gp as i have".

<br /><br />Same here - I'd bid whatever I have, but I don't have nearly enough to get one.  I suspect the bidding will go for over $100K each - it's just too cool to get a personalized uber-powerful Token.

I'm waiting to see the looks of chagrin on the faces of the morons who wait until the last year thinking prices will have gone down as GP bled out. People should run the calc sometimes of how much gold gets used in the auction each year compared to how much goes out in each year's set. It's idiocy.

Someone's should create an artifact token that doubles the value of all GP they own for purposes of auctions and trades

I dont think anyone could afford over 85000. Even the big collectors out there. They would still have to come up with the ingredients and that will cost gold too! and deplete the more vaulable stuff out of the collection including the fabled *wish* needed! I dont know what the other guys had to give up, but it was expensive. just the wish alone.
