TOPIC: Volunteer TD Mug available tomorrow night on ebay

Volunteer TD Mug available tomorrow night on ebay 19 years 2 months ago #1

Just thought I would give everyone a shout, and let it be known...This mug contains a wonderous treasure token called "Bucknard's Everful Mug." It will get you any amount of free soda at any TTavern event :D

I do not know if any other volunteer's have given their's up; but sometime tomorrow, I will put it up on ebay...just do a search for for true Dungeon, and I am sure it will show up if it has been posted.

Thanks, and good luck on the bidding!

I remember seeing one in Late August come up for sale on Ebay, but it didn't meet the reserved price. I believe the bidding was around $24.00. Will yours have a "reserve" price?

Thanks,

Larry

It will get you any amount of free soda at any TTavern event.

Actually, the official ruling is it only gets you free soda in the Volunteer Headquarters room. You can't use it in the Tavern.

They were handed out on Sunday when we finished with tear-down. Did you leave before then?

Yes, please do not mis-represent the item when you post it on e-bay. As Heidi said, they were a thank you gift to volunteers, and as such the "magic" only works in the volunteer breakroom.

I would hate to have a buyer purchase this item thinking it would work in the tavern, and discover they had to work a few hours in trade for activation of the "magic".;)

I sent a "question" to him on ebay telling him to change the description. Beyond that there's not much we can do. I doubt it sells anyway. His starting bid is $25, and his "Buy it Now" price is $85!!!!!

He changed the description to the following: "This mug was given exclusively to True Dungeon Volunteers. The bearer of this mug receives free soda when working as a volunteer in the Volunteer Room at all future True Tavern Events! The True Dungeon Wondrous Token, Buckner EverFull Mug is considered a must have for True Dungeon collectors. There were very few made, and even fewer made available to the fan base."

This is a much better description, and I applaud him for listening to out comments.

But, he also changed the starting bid to $50 :?: :smt102

I'm glad the listing is more accurate now. I would be surprised if anyone paid $50 for it but you never know.

Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...
