I've been trying to find out what all of the wearable equipment/clothing slots are of the tokens. Some of them are simple to understand (1-hand, 2-hand, armor, rings) but others are not as clear to me. I looked through the 2011 token guide and I still have some questions.

Specifically I was wondering about clothing slots. Do items such as cloak, robe, shirt, vest, etc all fit into the same slot? Or can you wear a shirt under a cloak. The illustration on page 10 of the token guide has been very helpful, but I still need some help.

I've been putting together a spreadsheet of the available tokens and also trying to compile a list of all of the slot options. So far this is what I have:

Armor - leather, hide, chain, plate, etc
Arms - bracers (and gauntlets?)
Charms - 3 per person
Clothing - cloaks, mantles, shirts, vests, etc
Ear - earcuffs (new slot in 2012?)
Eye - eyepieces, are these allowed with helms?
Feet - boots
Gear - no slot used
Gold (including gems and jewerly) - no slot used
Hands - gloves and gauntlets
Head - hats and helms
Ioun Stones - 5 per person
Neck - amulets, medallions, and necklaces
Orbs - no slot used
Potions - no slot used
Projectiles - arrows, bolts and stones, no slot used
Rings - 2 per person
Runestones - 1 standalone, + 2 attached to weapons
Scrolls - no slot used
Shields - use 1 hand
Weapons - 1-handed or 2-handed
Waist - belts and girdles
Wands - no slot used

Thanks for any help you can provide. New player here, still trying to figure everything out.

No. Cloak is its own slot as is Shirt. Robes fit in the Body slot. You can wear a shirt under your robe (or armor) and throw a cloak around your back all at the same time.

Armor (sometimes referred to as Body): leather, hide, chain, plate, robe, and vest
Arms Wrist: TD doesn't define an "arm" slot per se, we call it Wrist, but yes, that's where bracers fit (not gauntlets, those go in the Hand slot)
Back: cloaks and surcoats
Charm: normally max 3, but a Charm Necklace will grant 3 additional slots
Clothing: not a TD term
Ear: yes, a new slot as of 2012, earcuffs and earrings will go here; max 2
Eyes: goggles, lenses, and the like; can be worn with helms
Feet: boots
Gear: not slotted, though most of it is unofficially considered to be carried in some sort of pack, but that's purely role-playing (not a game mechanic)
Coins & Non-magical Jewelery: not slotted, see gear
Hands: gloves and gauntlets
Head: caps, coifs, hats, helms, circlets, crowns
Ioun Stone: max 5
Neck: amulets, medallions, necklaces, torcs, and the Horn of Plenty
Orb: not a TD defined slot; most orbs are thrown weapons, often single-use; the Orb of Might is held in the off-hand
Potion: see gear
Projectile/Ammunition: not slotted - arrows, bolts, bullets, stones, shurikens, and alchemical weapons; unless otherwise specified, single-use items (though shurikens may be recovered after the fight)
Ring: normally max 2, but a Hand of Glory will grant one additional slot
Runestone: 1 standalone, plus up to 2 attached to a weapon IF you have a Runestone Fitting Base for each runestone above the standalone
Scroll: see gear
Shield: held in the off-hand; to date, there are no two-handed shields
Shirt: shirts & vestments (not to be confused with vests which are considered armor)
Weapon: one or two handed
Waist: belts and girdles
Wand: see gear

You may find the Character Generator helpful. Click "My Account" at the very top of the screen then click "View My Characters & Parties" on the User Panel to the right. It doesn't have 2012 tokens yet, but it will. It tells you exactly what goes where and who can wear it.

Thank you so much Druegar! Thanks for taking the time to go through my list. That cleared up so many of my questions. I hadn't checked out the Character Generator before. Looks like a handy resource. 278 days until GenCon 2012!

Though, your comment DOES have me wondering about a 2 handed shield...and how interesting that could be to a character build...and to game mechanics.

Don't forget Hand of Glory (Neck) allows a 3rd Ring.

Druegar, though you mention it in passing, the 'Back' slot for cloaks, capes, and surcoats is not on the list proper.
