That Legendary would allow you to quaff infinite potions as long as you had them. Here, DM, I am drinking these 300 Potions of Bull's Strength. That gives me +600 to-Hit and +600 to-Damage. Say "goodbye" Mr Epic Level Monster. LOL!!

As long as your puck slide is anywhere near the Monster silhouette you'd hit. The rest of the Party wouldn't even have to bother sliding and risking hitting your slider off the board.

And, IIRC, the Rule of 3 (or is it 4?) only applies to negatives.

That would be true, if not for DMG p44:

When consuming multiple quantities of a specific food/herb/potion which has both a positive and negative effect, only the negative effects are cumulative. The only exception to this is an effect that heals damage.

Drinking a potion is a standard action, not a free action.

2. Stu's +3 Handy Stein

The ability to switch hands items without the free action cost would allow you to equip one of these, use it's "as a free action" effect, and then switch back to whatever you would rather hold in your hands (e.g. Deathcleaver, a Bow, a shield that is part of a set bonus, a bard instrument, etc.).

Lots of reasons to swap weapons!

If you want to look at the more "grok" options: Attack with 2 hander, switch to defend with shield. Congrats on shielded AC. If you had enough free actions you could do this all the time.
Same thing to switch with bow.


yeah sorry no infinite potions unless you had some tokens I'm unaware of.

Best I can think of would be:
Potion using Stein
Potion using Tulz
Potion using quiver - yes its actually an oil but close enough.
Potion using a belt
Be a drunken monk

At the higher levels it would unlock a lot of items that "sit" around and allow for more consumables to get used.
It would help increase the value of the consumables as it would allow you to apply them in the first round.


As to the bard thing I figured there would be a way for it to apply to the bard. mostly I would just make the legendary and that would solve the issue.


From a practical point of view, I suspect this Already happens. By that I mean to say, Many DMs are too busy to keep track of the free actions folks want to take and plenty of players forget to don't know about them as well.

This also ends up as a plea to "Let us use our tokens".
