TOPIC: TD Time

TD Time 1 year 11 months ago #1

I would like to suggest a small addition to the site. I would like to add TD time, which all virtual events would be based off of. With daylight savings time remaining a thing, and the panic I seem to have every time I wonder exactly what time the events start, I think it would help at least me, and possibly more than me. I also will include a screen shot of what I am talking about from another site that I believe probably has a similar budget. It is highlighted and circled for visibility purposes.

Thanks

If you set a world clock for "Chicago", that'll always be TD time.

I know for a fact that iOS has a built in world clock as part of the operating system--no additional app is necessary. I'm not an Android user, but the quick googling I did suggests Android has the same functionality.

I'm sure there are plenty of clock apps that would allow you to set and name a time zone. If desired, you could use one of those apps to make a "TD Time Zone" that's based off of Central Time.

I think an "add to calendar" link in your view tickets portal would suffice, really.

This would be great, I end up doing this manually for every run at the moment since I'm also somewhere which uses summer time.
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.
