TOPIC: TokenDB.com home page over HTTPS does not function

TokenDB.com home page over HTTPS does not function 4 years 3 months ago #1

Hello,

I hope this is the correct forum for this, as TokenDB does not seem to have a feedback email/form.

The TokenDB home page does not function properly for me when accessed over HTTPS. HTTPS has been the default on Chrome (and other browsers) for some time now.

Here is what does not load on TokenDB for when HTTPS is enabled:
  • Images
  • Stylesheet
  • Search
  • Filter

Reviewing the browser console, it looks like this is due to mixed content errors. At first glance, it seems that most links in TokenDB use an absolute URL (with the full http://) instead of a relative URL. This would cause the same site errors, as the page tries to load content over the non-secure protocol.

I have attached a couple screenshots of the issue.

Thank you for reading and any update you can provide!

Thanks for the double check.

I do notice that if I click “reset filters” on the non-functional page stuff starts to work. And it works while cached, generally.

The other thing I notice is that it doesn’t work in Incognito mode in Chrome, which can often be a good proxy for how it works for someone who never visited before.
