TOPIC: Lots of website slow loads and errors

Around 1/2 my page loads this afternoon are coming up with errors, and the rest are very slow.

Hopefully because lots of users are joining!

But - maybe the web guys could take a look?

Same here. My guess is they need to increase the number of simultaneous MySQL connections. Perhaps this would help:

This site seems to be hosted at Hostgator. I wonder if they are on cheap shared hosting. If not I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't gotten new hardware in years. In my experience if you complain about such things hosting providers will move you to new hardware rather than lose you as a customer.

Are we talking about the forum? It's really annoying tonight - going through five pages of recent topics and it's taking forever to load pages.
