TOPIC: lost posts?

I saw a bunch of people lost postings

was there a mass deletion

or is something screwy

Good question, it looks like thousands of posts lost for some of us. Maybe a bunch of old threads were deleted?

I believe there is a large amount of back ground work going on for the website.

I had a problem a short time ago (unable to find my previous XP and play history) and was told a there was work on a big update due soon.

The XP seems messed up also. I used to be top 5 and my friend Jason was top 10 and we both dropped.

Can anyone tell me what section these lost posts were in?

Were these lost posts recent posts...or older ones? Are you saying the lost posts are evident because of your post counter has been lowered -- or do you know a certain posts that have been deleted?

Any more info would be appreciated!

Jeff, I think it is just from the post count. I was guessing older posts because Gary lost more posts than I did. It is possible all the posts are still there and the count is just messed up.

that is what i was going off of..i just noticed my number was way lower..then looked at the user stats and everyone was changed(at least the people with lots of posts)

ARGH!!!!! I lost posts! I'm supposed to be over 9500! I know it's kind of silly, but I am proud that I am the second highest poster (behind Gary). I was kind of hoping I could break 10K by GenCon, but I don't think that's likely.

Help!

I don't care too much if old, defunct threads are removed, but we should still get credit for the number of posts.
