TOPIC: I found away around the PM issue

I like challenges...I am sick with nothing better to do
when you click on the pm...the white screen comes up....(we all see that)

what you do is...look at the web address...
truedungeon.com/component/option,com_uddeim/Itemid,XXXXXXXX....then a bunch of other stuff. I figured the XXXXX is the person..so I went and deleted the , before the number (then hit enter so it reloaded the new address).....sure enough....whomever I was pming was there...I have tested it (Thanks Mike Steele for replying back)

So try that

it looks complicated but really isn't.

don't click on the web address I put..i was meaning the web address that pops up on the white screen..i was using that made up one as an example

if you try it and it works let me know...I have now sent 2 this way(and got a reply back)..so this will work until it is fixed

if you have any issues (can't figure what I was trying to say..I can try to explain it better)

i replied back..post what you had to do. It might be different.

I just removed the comma...it was before a set of numbers tho

yes...i put the XXXXX in there as a generic...the XXXX is a set of numbers

The bar has a the true dungeon address. In the middle of the string after truedungeon is Itemid a comma and a number. Get rid of the comma, then hit enter

Laz, I tried to send you a PM, and took one of the commas out and hit enter, and it sent me to a PM screen where I could select someone to send a PM to. So, that was a good workaround, thanks!

take the comma out after Itemid..then that should work.

I think when I am all doped up on NYQUIL... I get creative and find easy solutions to problems
