Suggestion from a n00b prospective... 13 years 4 months ago #1

Although I did the beginner run in 2009, I did not play fully until last year.

But I was thinking that the website forum could use a section where people like myself can ask rules questions. I flipped through the guide, and I think I got the gist of it.

Not sure how busy it would be since it does seem that it is mostly veterans who use the boards.

BTW: My question is that if I use a two-handed weapon, I can still use a sheild if it does not have a "hand" requirement? (as in it does not have hands printed underneath) Sorry, I do not have my tokens in front of me, but I think it was an elven shield.

Also, the I pulled the Ioun Stone Iridescent Spindle. That would cover my "underwater breathing," correct?

Never be afraid to ask a question, most of us are experienced players and if we can't answer it, Jeff runs the boards and is always around to answer questions as well.

No, if you use a two handed weapon you can't use a shield. That is the choice of a two handed weapon.

Yes, that will take care of the breathing, but not the talking.

i created a newbie thread on token trades ...I would never have a problem answering questions. If I wouldn't know, I would point you in the right direction.

There is the Archer's Buckler which can be used while wielding a two-handed ranged weapon. It think that is the only exception at this point.

Has anyone figured out how to do the quote commands manually in this new forum? I tried several ways to fix the post above, but it doesn't want to play nice.

Thanks for the help. I just wasn't sure where to post the questions.

From my understanding, I doubted I could use the sheild. Better to know now, then August. lol

Occasionally a token has slipped through without its proper hands icon. Even though many of us here on the forums help with the design and proofing of the tokens, Jeff and all of us are only human. :)

Hopefully it doesn't cause too much confusion among new players. Usually common sense prevails or the token guide clears things up. Otherwise, there are lots of people on the forums willing to help clear things up. If its a question about tokens just put it over in the "All Things Treasure Token" forum.
