[quote author=admin (Jeff Martin)
Second Note: I wish both teams could LOSE. I am a Dolphins fan and I don't want anyone else to do undefeated! Go '71 Dolphins!
[/quote]

Thats funny, I thought I was the only one.
The initial line is Patriots by 4. It will be a huge game, with huge ramifications. And probably huge ratings =)

Go Colts!!!

The line is only 4. I bet that changes. I was expecting it to be closer to 10.

This game is basically for home field advantage in the AFC Championship game.

I think the line is up to 5.5. Hopefully Marvin Harrison will be good to go, I don't think the Patriots can guard both of them.

GO COLTS!!!

I hope Marvin Harrison can play as well. It's not looking too good right now from recent reports.

Kim

True. They just said he was medically cleared to play, but might still hold him out if there's a chance he can aggravate the knee injury. Or I'm guessing if he'd not be able to go full speed. We don't have a great 3rd receiver to replace Marvin.

I can't imagine them not playing Harrison, even if it means he'd boe out the rest of the season. I really don't think the Colts have a chance without him (and only a small chance with him!).
I think the rest of the football watching world is putting far more importance on this game than either of the two teams participating are. I don't think either one of them puts a player at risk for the rest of the season just to win this game.

Kim

I heard on the Indy ESPN radio that Harrison was told that he'd have knee pain for the rest of the season, and probably the rest of his career, and that surgery wasn't a good option for him because of the nature of the injury. No word on if he'll play or not. I hope the pain isn't too bad for him, he's been so lucky until now at avoiding injuries.

I think it's way more important for the Colts than the Pats - there's no way Manning can win in Foxboro in January.
10 points? The Pats will score ten points just walking onto the field. Saying they've beaten no one but the 'boys is not saying much - the teams that have played the Pats look bad b/c they are being compared to the Pats! (then again, the Jets and Dolphins are just flat out bad - sorry, Jeff.)

The Colts are a top-tier team, but are second to the Pats. Their (the Colts) defense is better than last year's, but that's not saying much. The Pats offense is WAY better than last year's, and that's saying ALOT!

I can't see either team scoring fewer than 21 points, and I think the Pats will score alot more.

GO PATS!
