TOPIC: GHC17 - 4:25pm Friday Barbarian Turkey Leg Run

Not right now. I have only 4 players, and they haven't comited yet.

I will grab them tonight if they do.

Just bought 4 tix for this run.

Our preferences

Wade: Paladin, Druid, or Dwarf Fighter
Alex: Monk
Isaiah: Fighter
Jason: Ranger

We will need to borrow several turkey legs, possibly 4 or 5.

I now have two legs... so can lend one

I assume we want high strength, low dex, lowest ac possible with highest retribution damage? Level four? Not level five? But highest hp we can manage?

Ok, I didn't know what we were going for.

I am fine with whatever we do. This is going to be fun.

It is suppose to be a blast!

Only damage is from retribution and I think strength damage... don't know how we handle range attacks...

For retribution I think that means we need low AC or we won't do damage...

Just thinking... sounds fun.

It is like at TDC having a nightmare group do non-lethal... and having Paladin sacrifice to bring súcubos back to play with her some more...

Make it a challenge not to die but doing retribution damage...

I am thinking of our Paladin trying to get lowest ac, penalizing dex as much as possible, and guarding the two highest AC's (instead of lowest). And then trying to survive...

I wonder how many battles we will take push damage on?

I did not realize the only damage would be strength and retribution.

I may need to understand more specifics.

Potion of leaping attack?

Are we allowed to use healing spells from clerics or druids? Paladin lay on hands?

What about spellcasters?

I assume we can be 5th level?

Do you want to play Paladin mongo?

The only limit is the weapon is my understanding, The spell casters still have spells and scrolls... also assume from the first post any enhancements are also legal... heals, potions, etc. I have a bunch of potions of leaping I can give out so we can do ranged with turkey leg... but not all ranged monsters at GenCon were accessible via potion of leapings...

The original thread disgressed on making the run more specific. This was scrapped to allow each player to do their own wacky and crazy thing (after Raven added some sanity back into the mix).

I was planning on maximing out retribution damage at 19 or 21 points and using taunt as much as practical to be hit. This required me to tank AC and try to maximum hit points.

The run should be on normal since the turkey legs are not magical.

I will have 5 Turkey legs that people can borrow. I plan on dropping them off with Mongo.

Each person should figure out their own thing based on a preferred class or two they want to play.

I plan on trying to organize a Turkey Leg run at TDC and Origins in 2018.

One time opportunities came up at GHC this year, unfortunately I won't be planning to do any runs at GHC this time around (the registration system won't let me having overlapping event tickets). If something falls through during the GHC I will certainly try to pick up a run during the convention.

PS - I have nothing schedule for 6-8pm Friday, the run starts at 6:01pm (one minute overlap with my 8pm event so I am unable to pick up a ticket )
