The more I think about it, the more I don't mind this for a room. Downtown rooms are a premium, people pay far more in out of block rates than this price.

Many have traded rooms they got with CC points for things here without issue.

Those seem like two different things to me. Getting reasonable reimbursement for a hotel room you got for CC points doesn't seem like a problem, especially if you got the room thinking you'd use it. Getting a hotel from the GENCON block, or getting tickets from the reservation system, both of which have far more people wanting them than can get them, and then selling them for a profit seems problematic to me. My friend and I had several GENCON True Dungeon full runs in our carts that we didn't need, we released them back into the system so others could get them. We never considered buying them and selling them for a profit, as to me that wouldn't seem right.

This doesn't help when we have a nearly full group ourselves (none of us are VIG).

The worst part of this is that I was considering making GameHoleCon my primary TD con to avoid the insanity of scheduling runs at gencon; we already have fewer DDA coming to gencon since 2020, and many of us are now doing more runs at GHC.

Selling out to VIGs in seconds is not good.

If there is a way to open up more of these Grinds, let's make it happen.

Did anyone voice an opinion in discord to not allow complete TD runs to be brought by VIGs? I recall folks wanted the option to be able to buy complete runs.

I wonder how many people are on, and not on, the discord forums. I know I've never been on them.

The Discord is unofficial and run by fans so I wouldn’t say it’s the place to make that request of TPTB. There are also very few Discord members that don’t check up on the forums.

I would also love to see more Grind runs. Given how they vanished in seconds, I’m sure TD understands the demand.

So when they posted to doscord no limit it wasn't official from ghc?

People may want to clarify which Discord Server they’re talking about. There is a TD Fans Discord Server. There is a GHC Discord Server.

This is correct, I had assumed we had shifted to talking about the TD fan discord since I imagine that TD decides whether to withhold tickets.

I don’t believe True Grind was discussed at all in the GHC discord. If anyone feels like they’re missing out, you can find the discord invite link on their main page.

Actually quite sad about it being sold out. First year that I have been able to do true dungeon in awhile and my wife's first time being able to try playing. Was hoping to be able to do both adventures.
