TOPIC: Nightmare Run Friday, Standard Run 7:48PM FULL

I have the snipers spectacles, but not the greater ring of focus. I will see if my brother does and borrow from him. I will check when I get home on the Charm of spell swapping... it looks and sounds familiar, but I don't know if I have it either, but my brother might (and he is not coming to TDC).

What do you recommend changing the kilt for? I think I have one if every leg token nice it is relatively new... I guess most important is not the enhancement but the minus four to dex? I can change it for the pantaloons of the deeper dark, loose lots of hit points but don't loose the 4 dex, and gain three hp back...

Deeperdark is probably your best option for the legs.

I have 2 or 3 spell swapping charms so I can loan one.

If you don't have the Greater Focus it's not a huge deal (tho it's required for caster best in slot builds if you care about that in general)

Ok, if you lend me the spell swapping charm, I have posted new character with renamed _take_2

I now have 30 dex, reduced hp to 47 (to 56 if all have CoS), my hit is now melee +6 but ranged +14

I assume melee is not really important?

I will look into getting a ring of greater focus... just don't want to pay 400-500 for one.

Found a ring for $390... seeing if I can get it for less if I pay cash at TDC... if so, will equip it also.

Am I better off with charming crown for higher save or for a crown that changes energy type of spells? I currently have 21 will but would drop it to 15 to be able to change energy type of spells...

What do you recommend? This will be my first time playing wizard, or even any spell caster... I analyzed other wizards and tried to imitate their equipment.

It's honestly personal preference. I prefer the +6 to saves myself but the elemental change is also a solid option.

Melee hit won't matter in a non grind NM run, no worries there.

That is honestly a rather good price, I think I paid more than that for mine

Mongo, if you just want to borrow a ring of greater focus, I can lend you mine for the run.

No need to lay out that kind of cash if you dont want to. Especially if you don't play a caster usually.
